Wedding Bands, Birthday Parties, & House Hunting

Jade and I had a very productive day today. We both dragged ourselves out of bed to workout this morning, then headed down to the jewelers to pick out our wedding bands! We have been down there a couple of times to look, but were not ready to commit. They should be ready in 2-3 weeks (well Jade's will be done in 7-10 days, but we'll pick them up together)! The hard part is going to be having the ring and not being able to wear it ;-)

Then we headed over to Chris and Kim Hoover's house for their son Adric's 4th birthday party and to check out their new place. Chris and Kim just recently bought a new house here in San Diego, and this was the first chance we've had to get over there.

Finally, we met with our realtor to look at a couple houses. We went back to one that we had driven by and had been interested in. The house is in a great neighborhood, and is a great deal for the amount of house and land that it's on. It's actually a short sale, but the owners have put quite a bit of work into the house. However, there is still quite a bit to do. Nothing is settled yet, there's no offer, but we are very interested in a couple prospects and are very excited about the idea of owning our own home!
