Progress is being made on a few things...

1. New House: the inside is not "photographable" just yet, but here are a couple pictures of the outside...

Our First Home!

Jade and I got the keys to our new house last night!!!

Going to do a little cleaning today, then moving day tomorrow! More pictures to come soon!

Best Week Ever: Day 11

Last full day in Hawaii :(

Woke up, had a great breakfast with dad, watched football, sunset at the beach with my two favorite men. Great day, but sad to leave.

Then, we head back to reality... but at least we get to go as Mr. & Mrs.!!!

Best Week Ever: Day 10

Matt and Sarah woke up early to head back to Kona and spend their last day on Oahu... Thanks guys for sharing such an amazing week with us!

Jade and I woke up peacefully surrounded by Ohia trees and Hapu'u ferns, birds and blue sky. We made breakfast, packed up the car and headed to Kalapana to the lava flow viewing area. But really there wasn't much to see except for steam...

We decide not to walk all the way out (which is only about a mile) because this was about all we were gonna see anyway and it was HOT!

Then we headed to Hilo to meet up with one of my childhood friends, Pua, and meet her beautiful baby boy for the first time...

Then back up over the saddle to Kona to have a farewell dinner with John and Sue. Can't wait to see you both in December in San Diego!

Best Week Ever: Day 9

Thursday (9/9/10), with Matt and Sarah, we took a tour of the Hamakua Coast (North/East side) of the island...

Then we made our way over to the volcano and hiked across Kilauea Iki crater.

Lots of scenery, lava, and fun with friends!

Best Week Ever: Day 8

Happy Birthday Mom! My mom's birthday got wrapped into the wedding festivities. Jade and I wanted to do something a little special for her on her special day, so we surprised her with a massage at the Mauna Lani Spa (and we went too ;-). We had a wonderful, relaxing morning, then had a fabulous lunch together.

Later we met up with Matt, Sarah, John and Sue to head to the top of Mauna Kea to watch the sunset and for some star gazing!

Best Week Ever: Day 7

Day one of our "honeymoon" was spent with family and friends, just as we had wanted. We went down to Kona to meet Matt, Sarah, John and Sue to go stand up paddle boarding. I always wish I had pictures of the craziness that takes place on those boards, but don't have an underwater camera :( It's never enough to enjoy being on the water paddling around, so we have to see how many people we can get on a board, or Matt and I try to do head stands on the board together, basically anything that is almost impossible and makes us fall into the water! But when the water looks like this, it's hard not to want to go in!

They we headed to dinner to celebrate all the late August, early September birthdays!
